Cashmere Care

Proper care is an important part of helping your cashmere last. Cashmere is a natural fiber, and some pilling is normal. Use a cashmere comb to remove pilling and keep your cashmere looking new.

Hand-washing your sweater in cool water is best, using a delicate detergent or a specialized cashmere shampoo. Gently remove the water by pressing it with a towel. Do not wring the garment as this may cause it to lose its shape. Lay the garment flat to dry. Never hang your cashmere as this may cause it to lose its shape, but especially when drying.

You may also dry clean your sweater, though this can be harsh on the fibers. Ask your dry cleaner for a delicate detergent.
